Remarkably, they raised 8 children amid frontier hostilities, and exploitation of Aboriginal, convict, Chinese and Chilean workers. Goori-Bugg Dreaming traces their lives, and those of seven generations of descendants, highlighting resourcefulness, adaptability and stoicism.
